| Key Bug - Y Key playing octave too high! | |
I have noticed in the last two versions that the Y key plays the 2nd Octave A on the 3rd octave. I can't reset this anyway, it's definitely sending the wrong midi note.

Go to the Menu Configuration -> Configure Keyboard and make the right assignment of notes to the keys!
What is a little bit confusing in this editor is that notes are ordered like this (alphabetically):
A0 - A#0 - B0 - C0 - C#0 - ... - G0 - G#0 - A1 - A#1 - ...
whereas in real life the notes are ordered like this :
C0 - C#0 - ... - G0 - G#0 - A0 - A#0 - B0 - C1 - C#1 - ...
Probably that is why there was something wrong in the initial assignment of the keys. At least I did the assignment wrong in first place because I was so blind to think that G#0 is followed by A1 like it is in the editor. But that's obviously not the case...
Hope this helps.

Nope.. I have gone to keyboard config, and
Key(Oct 1) G : T
Key(Oct 1) G#: 6
Key(Oct 1) A: Y
Key(Oct 2) C: I
I noticed as well as (Oct 1): A = Y playing a full octave higher, that also it's missing (Oct 1) B in the list!
I have the latest release.. dunno what is wrong.

Could this possibly be one of those US/international keyboard problems?
In other words, where are you from?

I have Version 1.6Plus of Psycle which I believe is the latest release. In my config dialog the notes go down like this :
Key(Oct. 0) A (!!!!)
Key(Oct. 0) A#
Key(Oct. 0) B
Key(Oct. 0) C (!!!!)
Key(Oct. 0) C#
Key(Oct. 0) D
...
Key(Oct. 0) G
Key(Oct. 0) G#
Key(Oct. 1) A (!!!!)
Key(Oct. 1) A#
Key(Oct. 1) B
Key(Oct. 1) C (!!!!)
So, all the notes A, A# and B should have been placed one octave higher to make things more clear in this dialog. That is Key(Oct. 0) G# should be followed by Key(Oct. 0) A and not Key(Oct. 1) A.
Even if the octaves are numbered in another way in your config dialog you should setup your keyboard as if the dialog was showing the notes in the order I wrote down above. This should work...
The only keys that are missing in my dialog are Key(Oct. 2) A# and Key(Oct. 2) B which is no problem for me as Key(Oct. 2) F is assigned to the key on the right side of [P] on my keyboard. So there is not much space left to assign F#2 - A2.

This problem is just a visual one.
as been said, it's just that A, A# and B are misplaced.
I would recommend you that if you are having problems with the keyboard, delete the file "psyclekeys.ini" which is placed in windows folder, so that psycle can rebuild it correctly.
