DirectX driver problems

OK, I know that the devteam can't do much about this as this is my soundcards fault, but:

For some reason, my DirectX drivers are all messed up, Psycle gets muted and all confused maybe once in every 20 minutes or something like that and I have to close it frmo the task manager and re-run it. Sometimes it won't start up, sometimes it works, sometimes it works but the MÍDI doesn't, etc...

So anybody had similar problems? My soundcard is ST Audio C-Port 2000 but I think Psycle might act similarily with any soundcard when losing contact with DX drivers or whatever.

Min some future version there could be some foolproof system so that Psycle wouldn't get so upset even though it did lose the drivers, or whatever that is which is happening right now with my machine.

(oh yes, I've tried moving the card to different slots, there are no IRQ conflicts, I've tried pretty much everything.)

In the future, psycle routines will be based on a differen source, so there shouldn't be that problem. But right now, I just can say sorry.
