 DirectX effects in Psycle! |  |
There is a free VST plugin called FFX-4 which allows chaining of 4 DirectX effects (!!!). So in fact it is a VST wrapper for DirectX plugins. Get it from here :

I tested it for some minutes and was able to run a free AnalogX DX effect inside of Psycle. It didn't accept my TC Native Bundle plugins though. And it removed the AnalogX effect at it's own will. So, it doesn't seem to run that stable for now...

odo, you sure it works there? cause ive been using it with ModPlug - works no probs, but when i load it in Psy it acts weird, it unloads the DX plugins when i close the rack window or even when i try to move it.

I'll try with Psycle. Year ago I tried FFX16 with Buzz- works bad.

btw have u tried console. its a modular app but runs as a vst/i plug too. hosts dx, dxi, vst and vsti. the bad thing is that the vsti version crashes psycle but still u can run the vst fx version.
http://www.console.jp/download.html - install japanese support in regional options or it will crash on run

I dislike Japanish-tai-tin, because it's very hard to read the manual

console is so simple u wont need the manual and the UI is similar to buzz/psy - machines, cables etc. im using it with buzz thru midiyoke and vmidiout.dll to run virtual sampler and works fine. stable, nice gui and excellent vst host.

i tryed Console VSTI and and works fine
even with 4 VSTI plugins at the same time
and 1 effect

console vsti crashes psycle everytime i connect it to the master machine. Odo hows that it works for you?

what vst plugs you have installed? what config u running psycle on? what OS? hows that it runs there and not on my boxe??? hehehe

and i`m using windows xp
+ japanese support

the pic wont show up.. anyways hmm winxp ... im on w2k here, old duron700 and no other vsts on this box. japanese support installed and the console vst fx works. bummers maybe next version will heh/

console crashes psycle when inputs are enabled for the vsti plug.
