| midi channels question | |
i'm probably doing something really simple wrong here, but i have to ask about this.
i can't get midi to come in on more than one channel; i'm using hubi's loopback device and i have a midi file player outputting to the port psycle is listening to. it works fine, except the midi data only goes to one channel, i.e. one machine. also, the table on my midi monitor is blank ... there are no machines listed there.
can anyone help?

Psycle has to be set up from the sequencer using a few control commands.
Check the included MIDI help (zipped, under the docs subfolder).
Basically, you have to send a command to indicate psycle which machine plays in which midi channel, and a few other things.
If not, it responds as being used by a MIDI keyboard, and thus, it only plays to the selected machine in the selected midi port (the two comboboxes in the main screen)
