This isn't really a question about psycle itself, but does anyone know how to change a file type?
Say I want to use a downloaded mp3 or other file sound but need to turn it into a .wav first to use it in psycle.
Can I do that?

OH! and on a related note. Is there a program or sw that anyone is using to pick out a little piece of a file.
For instance I have a long vocal recorded but only want to use two words out of the middle. What can I do with that?

You can use a wave editor to do that. Audacity ( http://audacity.sourceforge.net ) could load the file, allows you to cut the part that and then save it in the format you want (in this case, wav).

thanks. I'll check out the converter tonight.
I downloaded audacity and it was easy to use and worked pretty well.
It just wouldn't let me open anything that was compressed. I could only use like regular .wav files (uncompressed?) I guess
