| PSYCLE 1.10.1 BUG REPORTS |  |
First and most important, thank you all for this new 1.10.1 version. Another quality release by the Psycledelics Team!
I was messing around with the new version and found a bug:
1 - Pattern view -> right click -> Pattern properties -> Track naming
Choosing "Each pattern has its own" and clicking the "Copy names from" button crashes Psycle (and it was hard to get rid of the illegal operation dialog)
__
2 - I still can't amplify a sample in the wav editor. Normalize function works ok.

Hello.
Thanks for reporting that.
About the copy names, that would only happen on an empty song. I forgot to add checks. Usually, the combobox below would have the list of patterns, and one would be selected. If there is none, then it crashes.
I've added now a check to avoid the crash and telling the user why it cannot copy.
About the second one, I've finally found the reason. I am unsure the reason, but basically the way to get the value from the textbox (i.e. the amplitude amount) stopped working.
I've changed it to use the same method that is used in other windows in Psycle and that fixed it.
There are also a few more bugs that i've detected in 1.10.1: exchange machine in gear rack crashes if there exist one output wire in any of the machines. This changed between 1.10.0 and 1.10.1 and didn't test all the cases.
Also, it seems that the start and stop of the ASIO driver takes several seconds now. Not sure yet what's the prroblem.
The following months I'll be busy with real life, but I'll try to fix any bugs that get reported.

Using the VOPM vst ( http://www.geocities.jp/sam_kb/VOPM/ ) in Psycle, now some of its parameters end up reset in some cases.
That is, the parameters it calls D1R, if their value is 0-16 (as displayed in VOPM), that parameter will reset to 0 if I:
- double-click the VST to view and alter its parameters
or
- view its parameters by using the Gear Rack button, then clicking Parameters
or, oddly enough,
- if I open the "Programs" menu in the VST (e.g. to open/save presets through Psycle's method) - simply opening the menu, not even using anything in it.
If the D1R parameter value is 17-31, however, it does not reset to 0.
I do not recall this happening in the last version of Psycle, nor OpenMPT.
This is weird, as the other parameters seem untouched (that I've noticed), and I haven't noticed it with other VST instruments or effects.
Huh. VOPM's tweaks don't seem to record, either. I suppose it does something strangely.

Hi developers!
First I want to thank you for this great program that I use since 2005. It's the best of three worlds: ProTracker-style tracking, logic placement of machines like the inputs and outputs of real hardware gear and the access to modern and economical vst-plugins! Great! Ok, now the problem I noticed. In the new release the AutoStop Machines don't work for me. The button seems to have no effect on the system load. I use Intel Core i5 660 CPU and Win XP 32 Bit.
Thanks in advance for your reply.

I have found one more issue related to record tweaks: When I try to record in the pattern the value of a parameter with values from - to +, the value showed by the machine GUI doesn't fit with the recorded one.
I.e: Open an instance of Arguru Synth or Legasynth TB303. Turn on the record tweak option, and record in pattern the changes in parameter "OSC2 Detune" in Arguru Synth or "Fine" in Legasynth from negative values to positive values. Look how negative values are recorded as "twk XX YY 0000".

Minor bug: when you change tempo or lines per beat values, the duration does not update until you click on the order list.

Another minor bug that exists for few versions - undo does not work for deleting a selection (using Delete button), although it does for for cut (Ctrl+X).

While I was working in another skin for Psycle, I've found some bugs related to visuals:
- In visual settings: if I select the 1st colour in ''Font Sel'', it's changed the 2nd colour of ''Font Play''.
- Send Return Mixer doesn't use ''SelParam'' and ''SelValue'' colours.
- Psycle stores the complete path of ''machine_background'' and ''machine_GUI_bitmap'' in the visual settings file (.psv), so the background and the knob files must be loaded manually in another computer. Example:
quote: [...]
''mv_wireaa''=hex:00
''machine_background''=''D:/PROGRAMAS/TRACKERS/PSYCLE/MFC/1.10.01-R/Skins/PsycleLogics/PsycleLogics.Background.bmp''
''machine_GUI_bitmap''=''D:/PROGRAMAS/TRACKERS/PSYCLE/MFC/1.10.01-R/Skins/PsycleLogics/PsycleLogics.Knob.bmp''
''mv_triangle_size''=hex:0C
[...]
Greetings
