just been playing around with buze 0.6
http://anders-e.com/buze/
some ideas i thought were usefull
right-click on connections to insert an fx machine
right click a machine to replace it
being able sliders/envelopes instead of hex in the pattern (like a twk command, instead of hex values, have a slider)
- i'm assuming this would be a pain to impliment,
it would be awesome to have sliders/envelopes for volume/any machine parameter would make it much easier to track which bits are where, and edit specific parts (to non geeks like me, the hex values aren't much help)
hopefully the new version of psycle works on old computers

Mmm...
About the insert fx on connection, that's an idea I thought but I haven't implemented it yet. I belive I'll add it, since it is quite trivial ( create machine, move connection, create connection ). I will also add that possibility for effects/master machine (i.e. add an effect before this machine). Maybe also an "add after this machine" (to add it just after a generator).
About right click a machine to replace it... The replace button has been there since version 1.8.5 or so (can't remember since when exactly).
Finally, about sliders and envelopes on the pattern editor, I believe that's not coming, at least not soon. But you can use the "Interpolate curve" option in the popup menu. That opens a window where you can draw an envelope that gets converted to tweaks automatically. That's been there, I think, since 1.8.5 too.
And about next Psycle, you will need a computer with SSE2 support. That means P4, but excludes some relative new AMD processors, like Athlon XP.
The OS support is From Win 2K (although i'm still thinking if I maintain that or start asking for at least XP)

oh that's a pitty guess i'll have to wait till i get money to try the new one
oh, thought of an other idea, how bout right click -> insert track before/after the current track (so if you have 3 lines for a chord, plus 3 lines for automation, and you want to add a 4th note to the chord, you don't have to move all the automation tracks etc.

Speaking about that, maybe it would be a good improvement in the prog usability if the selection wasn't so fast when we're selecting tracks and we need to select a track out of the visible area. Sometimes it's hard to do it right.
