 Rating the songs |  |
Hi!
Just a little idea, can you implement a song rating function into this site? For example if you surf to the song's description menu, you can rate the song too and maybe you can list the current rating value in the songs menu after the Views and Downloads value.

There was some discussion about reviewing/rating the songs earlier too. I don't remember why it wasn't implemented, was SAS too busy or something?
Anyway, I think written reviews are more important than ratings with numbers. Reviews give some feedback but ratings are just.. ratings.

Yes, reviews much more important than rating, I agree. :-)
I hope SAS will have enough time to do the work...

IIRC, It was not implemented because the database changes would slow the site down even more... It'd be easy to imlement, but SLOW and POWER HUNGRY...

We can always review songs in the psy tunes board. Not the best way, but enough.

Ok...
i like the idea of written reviews as well. But
you've ´maybe already noticed, that the general
performance of the site is often poor.
Adding a review system would mean, new Database
entries and requests. That slows the whole thing
down as hell.
But.. if the performance of the site will be good and
stable over a longer period of time, there will be no
more reason to not having such a system. 
time will tell. until then use the psy-tunes boards
for your reviews and discussions. (even the're not
that many reviews )

There is no too much songs on the site and as for me - it is much better not to see others opinion. Every song for me is more, than plesant melody, but also technique, sound and my personal way of perception.
