Hi all,
Well I've become almost completely disenchanted with making music alone at my computer and am keen to start swapping psycle files and seeing what we can do.
Ideally, rather than have a whole gang of people involved, I'd like to find 1 or 2 people who would be serious about the project. I'm no advanced user of Psycle, infact I've barely even tweaked the presets, but I am determined to use it as I feel I have much more control over the music with the less advanced features of other packages, and also the meager system requirements make it even more satisfying when you do pull something cool off.
I'm influenced by loads of different styles I guess, but my ideal sound would be minimal, cold and ambient. I'm a big fan of Boards of Canada and think using samples to convey song meanings might be fun.
Anyway, I figure we can set up a gmail account and just upload files, download and develop them and eventually start making some really cool music.
I'm not a control freak and would prefer to work with people who believe a great finished product would be the most important thing. Apart from that, anything goes
Btw, here's a few ideas I've been working on:
