After upgrading from 1.8.2 to 1.8.5 I am noticing that Plucked string now produces a percussive sound similar to a muted string when playing notes below E-4. This is disappointing as I was using it in a few experimental songs as a plucked bass string......

Mmm... indeed this *sounds* as a bug. Notes lower than that get stopped too fast, that's why there's just this "thup"and not the expected sound.
