spreading the word of psycle!!!!

i am finding that this community is way to small, i think we should all spread the word of psycle.
first thing: we need some images that can be used as fourm signatures that will link to the psycle main page!!!!!


second, instant messenger names: i have added the psycle url to my msn, its not much, but out of the 40+ people i have, i think a few will check it out.

we should all do our part.
psycle is too good to not have a huge fanbase.

that's a well know thing,and we already talked about that on #psycle with some other old member...for sure we really need to promote psycle and our community more and more,maybe we need a person or a group for promotion it around the web,and/or as rhino did on some magazine like CM....

I have got one of my close friends to start using it.
He is a very talented musician, not incredibly tech savvy, but he is picking it up very well.

I tell everyone about it. Many start to play with it and decide the learning curve is too steep, however. When they ask how to do something and I tell them they have to enter a hexadecimal value they are turned off.

I am returning to school full time to take Computer Science this March. I would like to help with development on psycle while at school. I have several idea's that I think would help make it more usable.

I am currently without internet (except at work) until I start school, then you should see me there regularly.

I mention it when it applicable but I hesitate to actively try to build the community until at least 1.8.5 comes out. There are a few people who post at KVR who have kind of given up on Psycle until a new version comes out. Particularly with the SynthEdit plug-in compliance issues that crop up.

I think once Psycle develops into a more mature product (comparable to say ReNoise) it will be easier to convert people.

Hey! New idea I just thought of! I'm not sure how must exposure it would give Psycle or even it's a good idea but....

We could have someone be in charge of a Psycle account on Soundclick.com or a similar artist site and instead of hosting one artist's tracks, we could host a collection of tracks made only with Psycle..

What do you think?

I have given the LINKS of PSYCLE DOWNLOADING.....in the ISLE of the REUNION ( French Territory by Madagascar south africa ) and one web friend for sure has it now........

I have given the LINKS to PSYCLE DOWNLOADING on a MUSIC FORUM ITALIAN..( xelenio )..( in Italy even so I do not speak Italian )

and I talk a lot of it to anyone whom I think may be INTERESTED in making its own music, in FRENCH FORUMS, and to various french People......

But unfortunatly, seems like more and more people do not realize the chance extraordinary they have in this POSSIBLE of making their own MUSIC....with PSYCLE.....

.....But surely......when PSYCLE accepts more DIFFERENT VST and VSTI.......I am sure it will be known more....

and why not, if possible, place the NOTES on different note lines like them on a normal MUSIC SHEET from left to right reading on six lines....this vould be a real PLUS, a REAL IMPROVMENT......the WYSIWYG what you see IS what you get...

So all the BEST to you anyway, just for having succeeded in putting me to MUSIC....I do not regret coming accross PSYCLE and those that made it.....FREE....

I have just had a look in google videos, and there is no videos on Psycle.
If you type other open source software like Wings 3D, Blender, Audacity.
They all have video footage, about tutorials and so on.
Next month I will be able to post one, how about you guys do some psycle Videos as well and post them on google videos?
It will bring more people to the Psycle.
Becase I wished I had known about Psycal yeras ago, and I only found out about it two years a go....
