Parameter Modulating LFO        Go on top to this Page

I'm sooo tired of changing parameters over time via TWS.
If psycle shall become truly usefull to me (well it is but I have to make hundreds of rows of hex tws and that ain't fun :-(

Since a majority of the psyclers seems to hate automation curves and it seems no one would accept it's implementation.

Is it possible to make an internal LFO generator that you bind to a specific plugins parameter and the lfo will modulate it?
TWS LFO!

For example the LFO generator be it a machine or part of the program itself, you can set the Frequency, the Waveform etc etc as all LFO's and you set a higher and a lower hex value for the LFO to modulate within, at the specified frequency.
Voila many many tweaking tasks with psycle made 1000% easier...

For example you have T-RackS EQ and you want to modulate a resonance peak of a arpeggio througout a whole 7 min track DO THAT WITH TWS and you will feel like a prisoner of the Gulag archipelago after that...

Give me my LFO Modulator and you're done in a minute...
Maybe this wouldn't be helpfull to anyone else than me I don't know but I find TWS to be very frustrating.
Well give this idea some thought cuz it's a good one...
maybe even better than autmation curves (of course not as flexible but for many tasks faster and easier)

Psycle users are not against automation. It just is an notable modification of the code inside the pattern (if it isn't done with a dialog, which isn't exactly handy).

I believe i'll try to implement this machine you say. In fact, some machines (like pooplog filter) already have it inside, so it should be an effect machine that can control parameters, just like dupe it controls different machines.

But first are mixer and vsthost.

Yes! I've hoped for a parameter LFO for a long time...

Altough I'd prefer some more direct control like curves. It's often too easy to just route LFOs to some parameters and have "instant" gratification. But there's not really a human touch in the movement then.
A problem is, that IMO recording tweaks isn't somehow very comfortable in Psycle right now... So usually I just end up doing most of the tweaks by hand in hex, and, mm... Well it's not fast, and the results are usually a bit rigid. Which sometimes just what I'm after, of course.

Also one option to add to recording the tweaks would be the ability to only record tweaks on a note on-action of the tweaked instrument in that same row. This would allow for a traditional S/H like sound...
So for example if cutoff was tweaked it would only instantly change when a note is triggered, there wouldn't be any smooth movement between the notes.
Of course twk placed by hand does exactly this, but again, this method doesn't produce organice results in the same way than tweaking does...
