That's because this time I suggest for the forthcoming (I hope) multipattern sequencer an audio streaming capability for Psycle.
I suggest the development of a plugin which reads the audio file (wav and, maybe, ogg files) to apply effects and integrate it into the song (in the linked image, it is called DD-SAP - Direct from Disk Streaming Audio Plugin ), and the addition of a streamed audio sequencer.

This file could be represented/drawn in the streamed audio sequencer (audio image taken from audacity).
