| About psycle plugins sorting... |  |
Lately, there's a growing up number of psycle plugins. That's why I suggest to make a folder classification of this plugins, from sourceforge's cvs right to the psycle installer, instead of the actual mix of plugins. I. e.:
1) For Generators: I suggest to folder-classify them by developer.
2) For Effects: I think it could be better to folder-classify them by kind, i.e.:
../CHORUS/ -> Koruz, schorus, ...
../DELAY/ -> delay, pooplog delay, ...
../DISTORTION/ -> arguru distortion, softsat, ...
../DYNAMICS/ -> audacity compressor, arguru compressor,...
../EQ/ -> maeq, eq3, ...
../FILTER/ -> filter_2_poles, pooplog filter, ...
../FLANGER/ ->wahwah, ...
../GATER/ -> sliceit, ...
../PHASER/ -> s_phaser, audacity phaser, ...
../REVERB/ -> arguru freeverb, s_reverb, ...
../STEREO/ -> karlkox surround, haas, ...
../VOLUME/ -> gainer, alk muter, ...
..and so on.

there is a bit of confusion ....would be nice to have a list of all plugins available and also the ones in developing

Yes, some kind of customised listing would be GREAT!
I think a "Favourites" section would be really good, separate to the ordinary list of plugins - since there are about 7 plugins that I almost ALWAYS use these days.

I think a similar system to Aodix that would sort the plugins by path but show their reported names would be good. Now the system Psycle uses shows too long pathnames and using the .dll-name method to sort generators is too confusing...

i agree with Kim...
the dll show feature should display things in a different way, the way it is it is very difficult to find anything if you have your plugs sorted by chorus, reverb, delays and so on.

Perhaps even a complete manager, sort of like the bookmark manager extension for Firefox .

let's keep it simple, don't want to make it too much work for the devs - let them work on the really important things like sampulse and multipattern

I totally agree with you trancemyr. This one was only an idea to annotate in the 'to-do' list, if it is well accepted of couse.

well, I've decided to get into a bit of Psycle coding - some of the simpler stuff, like this Favourites part of the dialogue.
My idea is for at first, a simple Favourites list, and then if I can get that working nicely, a Favourites list with customised subfolders. Lets see how I go
