Ping pong        Go on top to this Page

Hi.

Just wondering about ping pong loop on samples, i actually die inside a little everytime i realise its still not there. Sorry if this has been said before. It can't be so hard to put in can it ? and it does wonders for sampling synths and even more for percussion. Please please please add it. I will pay you !!

Also if i send my crash reports from kontakt 2 and absynth 3 will it help the development of the new VST host, particularly in respect to those to applications specifically.

One other thing, is there any plan to add to the wave editor two things, 1st : a bar to show the play position in the sample on the wave editor, derived from the last instance of that sample the pattern sequencer called.

2nd : the ability to position a similar bar which would allow me to paste whatever i copied to a specific place in a wave.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

pingpong:

It will not be implemented in Sampler, but it is already implemented in Sampulse. You only have to wait it to be finished. Which might mean between 4 and 6 months.

I don't need crash reports at this point about VST's. I will ask about them when the host is replaced.

Since it has no common source, and even initializations are done differently, it would be a moot point trying to compare them now.

I am not sure what I will do with the Wave editor, but I know what you mean. Implementing a Slider shouldn't be that difficult, and I believe there is already some sort of "cursor". it just needs to allow positioning.

ok, good good.

So i was messin with sampulse and it already looks good, i think i have a fairly old version since i got a beta ages ago, but i was wondering; if only it will have ping pong, will there be an option to put it into the pattern sequencer screen replacing or along with the current native sampler ?
Its just i really find that the speed of trackers partly comes from this interface and even having to switch to machine view to access the sample loading interface annoys me. I know its petty but i have a problem with writing in never being able to work as fast as i'd like so any decrease is at least something i'd like to avoid. Whats going to happen ?

The "load" button on the top will be adapted to work with Sampulse, yes.
