hello everyone i just installed psycle and since this is my first time doing any kind of music tracking on the computor i am perhaps a bit confused. Will someone explain to me how i can use configure a midi keyboard to the computor via a midi cable? i already have it hooked up, but i am not sure how to use it one psycle.

I'm pretty sure I've got all the details of this in the help file (try looking in the index for MIDI stuff)

If your keyboard's plugged in OK, just open up Psycle and go to the Configuration Window (Alt + S), and click on the "Input/Output" tab.

Then go to the "MIDI" space and select your MIDI device (if you're pluggin in your keyboard using the game port, the port is often called "MPU-402" or something like that.

After that, you should be able to use the MIDI keyboard to enter notes, the same as you would using the computer keyboard.

Sorry to hijack this thread, but the help file does not appear when I select Help from the Help menu. Has the help file been properly integrated yet with latest version ?

if you download version 1.8.0 you will find the help... Download PSYCLEINSTALLER!!!
