Hi there, i'm a new psycledelic & love it. I'm french so, sorry for my bad english... I have a problem with a VST plugin called AGONIX from PRODYON GEAR. I can't load any preset of it. They're in .fxb format. Is there any solution ? Is there someone who can help me ?

You will have to wait one or two months for the new VSTHost. I am in the process of changing it, and the new one does support Banks ( .fxb).

anyway AGONYX it's synth-edit made so it causes some famous problems.
for fxb you can convert them in fxp with cubase,psycle can load fxp

I was working on a new tune with two Arguru synths (final).. i mouse-tweaked vcf type and that created some known clippings which of course reproduce on the record. I added a third Arguru synth to make a bass sound, but when i enter a note -pretty much at the same moment an automated vcf type change takes place- the clipping is bigger and bass sound isnt heard at all.

After taht i closed the song (without saving changes) and opened another. Psycle won't make any sound at all. I re-opened the first song i talked about and sound came back. Re-opened the second song, and it sounded all distorted, quite horrible from the start. This routine finally stopped after repeating the re-openings of this songs.
FWIW, It has a couple vst on it: Synth1 (not blameable i think) and Bassline v2, which could be the culprit.

I should add, i'm using winxp sp1, asio4all controllers.

Another thing: why when you copy a bunch of patterns from the sequencer, and paste then since the last position, actually psycle clones them? i mean, if you make a change on the pasted ones, entering notes i.e. it also changes the previous patterns that were copyed. Is there a way to avoid this?

Thank you (for making Psycle available and taking care of it).. i hope all bug reports help Psycle to be better, and finally some day be the successor of greats like Impulse Tracker or Buzz

Problem about bad sound is strange, but it could also come from the ASIO implementation, coupled with erroneous output from a machine.
We will have to wait and see if this happens again to get more indepth.

About pattern copy/cloning:

Buttons of the sequence:

Cut/copy/paste : They do not duplicate the pattern, they just copy the sequence numbers.

Clone : Creates a new pattern(s) and copies the contents of the current selected one(s) to this new one.

New : Creates a new empty pattern and inserts it below the current selected.

Ins : Inserts a pattern above the current selected one with the same number (i.e. does a copy above, not a clone above).

Del : deletes the pattern(s) from the sequence. It does not delete the pattern itself.

Clear : removes the sequence completely. The patterns still remain.

Does this get clearer? I think there was once a refresh bug, and the pattern shown wasn't the one selected in the sequence, but this doesn't seem to be your case.

Got it, the button that serves my purpose is 'clone'. I
was mislead by the 'cloning' concept. Previously I
referred to this: say i'm on pattern 00:00 and enter
some notes on it's tracks. The pattern is selected on the
sequencer, and i use 'pattern copy'/'sequence copy' from
the edit menu, or the 'copy' sequencer button. I paste it.
when i alter this new pattern (00:01), i.e. entering a
note, it will alter pattern 00:00 as well, efectively
resulting in duplicate patterns. So the patterns that
were copyed from, copy the copy i made from them
(kinda confusing huh?). The clone behaves
independently. Thats what i wanted.
