I never really knew what Theremins were until recently....
how cool are they?!!! The local electronics shop is selling some sort for $50....i'm seriously thinking of getting it...it's one of those kits you assemble...obviously can't be too flash for $50, but still....won't be a too big a waste of money if i end up not using it much....
anyone else got one?

What is a Theremin ? The name is familiar to me, i think it's a musical instrument but i don't know more.

Some guy on TV was playing one...was a comedy show and he was playing it in accompany with bagpipes or something. Can't remember...looked weird though...he was waving his hands around and this sinewave-ish sound was bending and such...

update: i found out it's a kit you assemble yourself...found the same thing for $99 at another store, assembled...
i discovered both models only have sine waves....only expensive ones have other options ...still may get it though....looks like fun lol
