| Native Intruments VST PLugs | |
Smello,
Before i start, i love psycle. And i apologise prefusely for not sharing my tunez yet. I just got accepted on the RAW42 label, I have jumped from 400 -> 32 in the artist charts in the last 3 months alone after only 4 songs being accepted, So do i ever owe you dev's for making this prog. Thankyou, you have started my music career. Watch out, soon to send to major labels aswell.
I recently started using native instruments Kontakt as my sampler, so then i thought lets try N.I Absynth.
She couldn'i take it captain, somink made her shut off altogether and the psycle window disappeared. I was wondering if anyone has used absynth with psycle, or knows of anyway of figuring out whats causing the problem.
Sorry i can't offer a better starting point, but any advice is more than welcome.
Cheers
Kris
PS:By the way anyone not using NI packages, **** me are you missing out. They are nothing short of incredible.

NI synths rock!!
True, AbSynth doesn't work in Psycle, i hope JAZ or other devs look into VST Host to fix some problems...

AHhh, glad to here i am not the only one to discover the wonders.
But more evil enters my world this morning as battery crashes psycle just like absynth.
Kontakt is still fine, although i have now found that i can't tweak, but then its got so much already tweakz aside that i don't think i care. My puter seems to run loads of kontakts in the background so no bother me thinks.

aaawwwww !
shit it justs get better. Didn't even know about intakt. Kinda suprised they didn't integrate kontakt and intakt. Looks like just what i was hoping kontakt would be able to do more of.
What does intakt do when you give it a drum loop to play with, i assume its muhc better than kontakt ?

Absynth 2 worked on my machine almost, it just crashed sometimes when loading some soundbanks.
Sounds could be extracted by importing them individually even from those banks.
It wasn't 100%, but I could use it somewhat. IIRC it also crashed at times just for now reason.

I was wondering about intakts capability with regards to slicing a drum loop up and playing it very well at a far shifted tempo. Kontakt does a damn good job, but i always wondered whether it could be bettered.
Since Intakt apparently is mainly designed to work with loops, it seems that they might have included upgraded tools for processing loops and shifting the tempo and pitch with less bad effects to the sample.
To be absolute specific, can it change the method and process used on several slices of a loop and possibly even gradient between stetching granualar, and wave strethching over a slice. Things that really take the piss with how complex they are just to really reinvent looping.
Oh yeah, and can it make the gaps in between slices be gone in the case of speeding up loops and consequently the slices, and also visa versa, can it help with the slices becoming to small when you lower the pitch be sort of reshaping (volume / freq ) the low pitch samples fit there slice.
You know what i mean ?
and why do you never used kontakt with exclamations. (-;

| battery 1 & 2 work flawlessly | |
hi...
battery 1 & 2 work flawlessly in psycle if you use only one stereo out.
battery crashes because its set to use multiouts (more than one stereo out) .
run battery in standalone and in the options/setup select only one stereo out. if this doesnt work (now i dont remember what kind of options you do have in the setup), just edit the windows registry and do it by hand.
ciao...

Ciao (pronounced Chow) is Italian for Hello or Goodbye.

Regional dialects, and such. The definition from google says it's pronounced "Chou". The fact remains it is not pronounced "See-Aow", or "Ki-Aow". The pronounciatiation of Ciao is not obvious for us Native english speakers.
Perhaps someone could answer his other question though?

In Psycle 1.7.6.2 and latest Alpha AbSynth 3 crashes Psycle when opening its GUI, at least for me.
