Connection Volume not working | |
Hi All,
I downloaded the psycle version ' psycle.bin.release-1.7.6.2.simpler-g7-only-package.rar ' .
The connection volumes are not adjusting the volume, theirs no read out of dB on the left hand slider and increasing/decreasing 'the volume?' with this slider has no effect.

Hey alk,
No! the volumes between each machine connection.
I.E - when you connect two manchines together & you click on the 'triangle' and the 'CONNECTION VOLUME' box appears that has the window showing the scope mode, equalizer etc, and to the left the volume slider.
The 'connection volume ' that is what it is called in psycle on the window header.
None of them Adjust the volume as they used to do when I used psycle.

This wire volume control you are talking about is working fine for me... even with automation (using psycle 1.7.6 stable)

ok.
I'm running WinXP and using the KX audio driver as I've been using since I first began producing with psycle.
Can anyone give me any suggestions on what the problem may be please?.
Even when I load a wave sample & click edit so as to use the Instrument editor I still can not Adjust the volume. In Fact when I move the volume slider on the Instrument editor the read out always shows 100%.
I used psycle for years without never having this problem. Then I stopped for a while and now I have this volume Bug.Maybe it has nothing to do with psycle maybe something on my windows system is the root coarse??????.Though none of my other Audio programs have problems with the volume control or rather lack of it.

Start trouble shooting process:
First suggestion...
Try different sound card output devices...i.e. if you're using ASIO, try MME...if using MME try ASIO...if uisng Direct Sound, Try MME, etc...
Are the VU meters showing volume?
Anyone else have any suggestions? I wouldn't even know where to begin on this...

This is quite strange... just downloaded the same file to be sure and checked, and I can't see the bug.
Do you have MSN Messenger? (6.2). Maybe we could try to connect (remote assistance) and see the problem in your machine

Well, since I use kX, too, it's probably not that (and I tested the Alpha 1.7.7.16). Oh, did you try the latest 3538 test release of kX ? Do if you've got an Audigy 2 ...
