I'm currently working on an NES styled skin.
If I had a webhost that would let me link offsite, I would post the screenshot...instead, I have to request that if you want to look at the preview, please copy and paste the link into your address bar.
Generators are the NES console with the 'Nintendo Entertainment System' logo replaced by the name of the machine. Reset and Power are Mute and Solo buttons. A VU meter and slider were added to the original design to keep functionality of the machine.
Effects are controllers. In place of the select and start buttons is only 1 button that acts as the pan slider. On a real controller where the 'Nintendo' logo is, will be the name of the effect (it's kind of small, but still readable). A and B buttons are Mute and Bypass. The arrow pad is only there for looks. If I had my way, that pad would actually controll the slider. 
Anyway, here's the address to copy for a screenshot. This should be availble tomorrow at earliest. I still have the headers and color schemes to finish, as well as a the word Psycledelics drawn up to look like the 'Nintendo' logo for the backdrop.

Let me know what you think. It was partially inspired by egotransplant 8-bit machines, but I thought going full throttle with a design looking like an old NES would be cool, especially since that's my favorite gaming system (I own upward of 200+ games for it ).
Again, hopefully, I'll get headers, color scheme and backdrop finished and release it tomorrow.
