  n00bish troubles

Hi, I'm a new user here and I just started working with Psycle yesterday. It seems to be pretty user friendly and has a lot of potential. My problem is this. When I play around in the machine view, I can make some interesting sounds with cresendos, decrecendos, draw out notes and so on, but I can't seem to create the same effects in the pattern view. I realize that this probably seems pretty vauge, but I was just wondering why I can't seem to create the same effect (if you have any ideas at all)...

Sorry, I realize that this is very vague, but hopefully someone can help me out here.

hello and welcome

when you tweak the machines in the machine view, it's actually not recorded in the pattenrs
you have to enter the appropriate 'twk' and 'cmd' commands manually for the machines parameters to be changed when the patterns are played.

hopefully next Psycle version (1.7) will come with mouse tweaking recording, which means that any change made with the mouse in a machine will be automatically 'translated' in 'twks' commands in the patterns.

this will solve your problem (and dramatically ease Psycle use)

I realize that things done in machine view are not recorded in pattern view, I just wasn't sure as to why I couldn't duplicate the effects. I guess I have to tweak it all manually. Well, now that I realize that I'm sure I can create the same effects. When in 1.7 due for release? It sounds like that will drastically increase the ease of use.
