It would work but unicontrol for some reason doesn't receive CC or PC, just the notes.

Then I found
Virtual MIDI Sliders
I loaded mixer and 4 synths.
When I change programs 1-4 (on virtual midi keybard) I can switch between synths 00,01,02,03.
When I change to program 65, mixer shows up in midi monitor.
But then when I move sliders, it turns out that sliders change programs too! (I move slider 1, it switches to synth 01, slider 2 - synth 01 etc).

I also tried loopbe + midiox and I tried to map NOTE ON > Program Change 65 but it didn't work.

It seems like the problem is on Psycle side.
I used Akai editor and remapped Pad8 so it sends PC 64 instead of default 7 so I can use it to switch to mixer.

But when I tweak knobs (9,10,11...) Psycle receives program change and switches to instrument 9,10,11...
Knobs are not supposed to send PC.

Mmm.. I think i forgot about one thing: Psycle's send-return mixer does not understand "mcm" commands, so even if we are able to send the messages to the mixer, this will not work if not using the midi mapping options from the configuration screen, which as you know, are very limited.

What you need, and it isn't possible right now, is a feature where you could tell how to translate the midi messages sent to the mixer specifically into mixer control actions.
What Psycle offers is just a generic remapping of up to 16 midi messages that will get translated.

You might have better luck if you can use a VST mixer (but it might not be easy either).

All available VST mixers come as effects, not instruments.

VST mixer won't make any difference, knobs will still send PC instead of CC.

I think I have to stay with 'CURRENTLY SELECTED IN PSYCLE' mode.
Ideally I would use controller with 'endless knobs' like Novation Nocturn so I can share it across plugins without parameter 'jump'.
