is someone working on a new release??

I do ask cause my psy has some "diseases" on the curent useing (better running version) ....

-cloning a generator does not worke anymore since several versions (realy shit"y" for a good workeflow)
-and my psycle does crusch after writing tweaks ... (realy bad too)

I will try to del the config-files (they will be created after running psy the next time whith admin-rights i do belive)

but it would be great 2 know about the next update cause I do love the kind of psycle and I donīt want 2 leave ... (or peraps a tip 2 fix the problems)

I can't speak for [JAZ], but I'm pretty sure development hasn't stopped. The last commits to the main application were a couple months ago, but that isn't particularly unusual. (And there have been a decent number of commits since the last release.)

Can you give a little more info about your setup? (OS/version, x86 or 64 bit build, psycle versions affected, do loaded plugins matter, etc.) I don't have any time within the next couple weeks, but after that I may be able to take some time off of doing too little work on QPsycle to take a look at some Psycle bugs.

I am not experiencing any crashes on machine cloning (with the exception of cloning a send-return mixer, which probably I should not allow to do it).

Tested with 1.12.0 release, both 32 and 64bit.

Said that, cloning needs that the song directory (configuration->settings->directories) is properly configured (it is using it for temporarily storing a file). This will probably be the cause if you see a "cloning machine failed" message.

Crashing on tweaks, if you mean tweaking with MIDI or mouse, might happen on the current version due to an improper timing of events. (the intention is that midi input , keyboad input and mouse input all trigger the same code, instead of having multiple implementations doing similar things). I need to work that a bit more.


As for next release, I posted a few things in the google+ page, just to say that changes are slowly incorporated to it.

ahhhr yes, did read the errormessage today [felt like a real noob ] and changed the song-path cloning does worke but now i canīt save (crashing while the save as window) donīt change a running system ... so now i killed the psycle.ini for a restart...

now (after the refresh of the config):
- cloning and saving as seems to run ...
- tweaking via controler runns very wel (saving after tweaking also)

I will keep an eye more on the google+ acc. i do follow already

(most the problem isnīt the computer ... the problem is sitting in front of it - quod erat demonstrandum)

And no, Psycle cannot use multiple midi devices at once. You would need some type of hub. MIDI-OX might be able to do so, but you would need a virtual midi cable then (like loopBE ), to route the output of midi-ox to Psycle.
