Kind of like how fruity loops has it set up as you can innitiate certain patterns with the controller. It would be like the same way but with psycle tracker's live feature and ability to record at the same time live like is already built inside.

Hope this suggestion makes it trough as lots of people probably wants something resembling a bit like a proffesional live vehicle like FL studio, Ableton and renoise's ability to initiate patterns with controller.

I don't know if I understand it correctly (i don't have experience with the feature that you suggest).

Is it like a controller is able to tell "loop now this pattern"? , is it a "start playing song now, but start from here"?

When the controller does so, how is it attained? is it just the click of a predefined button? Is it like setting a program number and then sending the action?

There is quite a lot to be improved from the MIDI side, but i don't know how much is feasible right now
