I haven't played with this one specifically, so it will be intresting to see how it compares to stuff like AMS or ingen (assuming I can ever get ingen to build on my arch box...)

Well, imho Analog Box is more a 'toy' (and a clever one) ie something made to have fun with, rather than an instrument (in the common sense).

I do admire those who can build these jam robots they made (that you can download on the site).

Analog Box does nothing to make things easier for people like me knows nothing (or nearly nothing) to real circuit bending and electronic components.

But it can be real fun to spend hours trying to make a circuit which will produce (if it can) a bizarre and uncontrolled sound

Ideal to pretend
