  How to raise/drop the sound of 1 octave or more?

How to raise or drop of one octave or more, so if I drop of 1 octave, pressing C-4 on my casio keyboard would sounds exactly as if I would have pressed C-3.

My keyboard, is small so it covers only a part of a real piano. I'd like to "move" that part right or left, if you know what I mean, to play any area of a piano.

I tried some vst effects but it affect negatively the sound.

The "Octave" drop list in the tool box doesn't seems to have this purpose...

Thanks

There is probably a setting on the keyboard itself that will do this. Otherwise play everything to note duplicators and have them play insturnments with an ofset of one octave.

No, my keyboard doesn't has this setting.

"Note duplicators" : Don't have any idea of what it is Can you explain? Is it an vst?

I'm using "Kore player" as a generator in Psycle. It allows me to play many instrument or audio effects with my casio keyboard.

I don't really know about vst, plugins and vst hosts. The only thing I'm going to need is to raise or drop of 1 octave.

Thanks

You mean, I will not be able to play and hear in real time the notes one octave lower?!?!?!

I can't believe that what I need doesn't exist. There must be something, a software that convert the midi signal from the usb port....
one octave lower = c3 --->c2, d1--->c1 That's seem's to me so simple.

Small keyboard is so common... A lot of people should have needed the same...

The note duplicator is a psycle builtin machine.. It was recently brought up on this thread http://psycle.pastnotecut.org/thread.php...did=2&styleid=1 elsewhere on the boards. You can use it to move your notes down by one octave...
