From mutilus on 16.09.2009, 00:51: Using the Psycle native plugins
|
From shadowbane on 16.09.2009, 06:37: I find that the plugins are very versitile, though many are quite daunting to people who don't know synths well. (really, pooplog FM lab is almost too much for the ui to make sense) Also, some of them are very hard to control like GameFX. I think these two in particular need to be documented in some way, for although they are excedingly powerful many have no idea how to use them.

From dark_virus on 16.09.2009, 15:43: shadowbane: no, you don't. It's interesting to the devs to know about psyclers difficulties. That's why I sugested this kind of discussion. I could figure out some plugins usage, but I must confess I have great difficulties with them.

From shadowbane on 18.09.2009, 00:25: a cool idea for patches would be to put a user/built in selector by the vst drop-down list, and let it be used for the built in plugins as well. If that was added I would help to author some patches for the default set.

From dark_virus on 18.09.2009, 02:31: I have some (very) basic patches I could share. If there were a preset manager tool in order to merge the presets in one file, it would be very cool.

From shadowbane on 18.09.2009, 05:35: I think the preset thing saves all of them at once upon export...

From mutilus on 20.09.2009, 12:19: I haven't used the Psycle native generators much lately, as only songs I've made have been for sdcompo, so I've only been using the Sampler pretty much.
