  Things to get once started

I'm a programmer who's working on good music for games, namely a 3D FPS which I am plotting out. However, ever person needs sound, and since I am a 'One man army', I need to do everything. I can create 3D models and animate them in blender, as well as make animated cut scenes. I can do programming with OGRE and OPE, so I figure that learning Psycle isn't impossible.

I am slowly learning the software, but was wondering if anyone could tell me a bunch of things that I could possibly need for doing so. If it is neccessary, I am using Windows Vista on a laptop with 2 Gigs of RAM and 200 GB HDD, with a 800MB graphics card. Internet speed (dial-up) is limited since I live in a rural place, but if I have to, I can go roaming for someone else's (don't like hotspots, they lag too much).

Anyone that can help is thanked, and will appear in game credits (small scale game that I may or may not be able to finish, but that's not the point).

Thanks again, OMEGA.

Could you be more explicit about the things you don't know how to do ?
It'll be easier to help you...

You will probably want some drum samples...

the shadow runs form the light, but can never be fully driven back.

Here are a few great links to where I got most of my vst plugins/generator/instruments. (DSK music is truly great and their mini drumz 2 is in almost all of my tracks):
