Manual Psycle Install Help?

So I downloaded Psycle using .zip format. I unpacked the files to the Psycle folder I made. Everything is working fine, up until I want to add a new machine. When I go to one of the machine categories, there is nothing there. All of the plugins (.dll) are in the PsyclePlugins folder, so I do not know what is wrong. What am I doing wrong? What should I try?

First check that the path is right for the machines, then hit the button labeled "Regenerate Plugin Cache"

Hope this helps

Do you mean check the filepath by going into the Psycle >> PsyclePlugins folder and checking if they are there? Well, they are. But I haven't tried regeneratiing the plugin cache.

EDIT: Are the plugin files supposed to be in .dll or .prs format?

EDIT2: I'm assuming it has something to do with what is circled in red:

What should I do if that happens?

Nope, check where psycle is looking for the plugins (configuration>settings >> directories tab)

The crashed or invalid plugins isn't a problem right now, notice that there is no expanding plus to the right of it, that means it is empty (it only gets stuff in it if you download bad VSTs

.prs is presets, .dll is a dynamically linked library, this is what VSTs and native machines are stored in

Hope this helps

Also, if you jump on the ICR effnet>#psycle you can get help in real time, ther is normally somebody there.

Thank you so much. The directories were looking for the folder I had it in the last time I installed Psycle, so I changed it to the current one. Thank you again!
