Hi all,

alk was telling me to release more of the stuff i'm sitting on. so this was my first recording mixed with psycle over a year ago now (an 80's Bobby Brown cover):

mostly guitar and vocals with a couple simple drum loops and one synth to fill in the sound. basic stuff. it's all first take recordings, so the vocals are only about 80% 'on'.

but anyone interested in working with vocals and instrument samples is welcome to have a go at doing their own production for fun or the experience.

just let me know and i'll hook you up with the raw vocal and guitar wavs and the PSY for the tempo and what not. all i ask is that you credit me for the performance in your release.

Already told you: I like it!

Could be easily released as a cover on a commercial label. Nice work with your doubled voice. Just miss some more percussions in it.
Overall, it's an 8 out of 10 for me.

btw.. this is waaaaay better than the "Britney-F**k-me-when-i'm-drunk-and-i'm-always-drunk Spears" cover.
Ok.. isn't that hard to be better than Britney. She just gets money for her crap... Bad world...

Nice one, that seemed to have a very pro sound to me. Great feel to the sound, the synths work really well with the vox and the guitar. The simple drums work really well for me in this track, mixed low to let the other stuff do the work.

First listen I was thinking... this could do with a bit of a break.. then it popped up at about 3:25 Very nice. Goes back to the same groove afterwards, which works well structurally I think, but maybe the drums could have been spiced up with a few cymbals at that point? Or just some other sound introduced.

( heh.. I obviously still have my sdcompo hat on... :p )

Bottom line.. A really cool song mate.
