first off i am quite new here, and have only been using psycle for about 6 months.
but, anyways

check this out, its a bit scetchey now, but im working on it. i know the balencing is WAY off, but then again, the song is nowhere near finished, it doenst even have an outtro yet!

i started it to get a feel for some new vst/vsti synthisizers i picked up. (i found em all on the free vst/vsti fourm)

i also do not have a midi keyboard, so i am using my typing keyboard. i am probably stuck like this for a while, as i intend to by a pod xt as my next musical investment.

btw, i REALLY need some constructive comments about it as i am not as good with psycle as some commercial programs. (such as fl-studio).

i entend to do music in more or less this style for a game mod at some point. all i must do is apply

p.s. i hate wave files! THEIR SOOO HUGE AND TAKE FOREVER TO UPLOAD TO SERVERS!)

i don't know how to delete it. edit it! i mean overwrite it.
i listended to your game scores like duke nukem or the mario themes. well done, but i'm sure you can do better with the drumcomputer sounds. psycle is a perfect tool for programming percussion sections.
i like to put effects to different drumsounds or other percussive sounds, render them to wav and edit it with audacity (pitch, tempo a.s.o.). then i use the edited sounds again as new sound samples in psycle. this often turned out to be an almost metaphysical experience. lol
working with programs like fl or psycle often leads to a certain ummts-ummts-house-kind of music. dare to say: "no, i have an idea and i want this program to be my slave". creativity will always make a difference. you got the skills, use it. sincerely

i know i can do better, but im still getting used to the tracker system. its just really different to me. im used to things like fl studio and anvil studio.

anyways, the drums i used were a preset in sytrus. i really like the weird sound to them, so i added them in.


when it comes to my other music, i use the fpc plugin from fl studio. the reason is, it has some really great samples that are built in.

Unfortunately I couldn't listen to this one - got an "error downloading codec" message in both Firefox and Internet Explorer - couldn't see a way to download it, either :S
