  Sending velocity to VSTis?

How do I achieve this?

I'm playing around with some velocity layered soundfonts now, and usinc 0cXX with noteon just seems to lower the volume of the note.

I know I can use mcm, but that is SO cumbersome, having to work around with numbers only. (maybe we should have an automatic note->mcm converter????)

And this isn't about soundfonts only! Velocity sensivity is THE second most important feature (after note-on...) in any sequencer

It would be a great second function for a volume column.... For all VSTi, it should be velocity, but for the sampler it should be volume.... Unfortunately, I don't think Psycle has the developer strength at the moment to implement... Perhaps if we could pull something out of PsycleWTL....

0Cxx command works for me , the velocity is sent correctly to the VSTi that can handle it, the samples in velocity layered sf2 are triggered the right way--> what soundfont player do you use taika kim ? ---

note : i'm using 1.7.3rc1 version

but it's true that the MIDI implementation needs to be changed

i agree for a second function column : it's actually impossible to have a FDxx command and a OCxx command at the same time, very frustrating.

Anyone have tried the MIDI learn & send MIDI raw data in psycle 1.7.6 ? it's doesn't work for me.

0Cxx workls for me, too. The best example is Iblit, which lets you choose between no volume change, linear and logarithmic. And it all works correctly .

Hmm, that's weird. Maybe I just got some Soundfonts mixed up??

OTOH, I also remember that I had to use mcm with Edirol Hyper Quartet to correctly send velocity to the VST. Then again, that was with some old Psycle version over a year ago...

If it works now, I'm happy
