  mixing and fading ....

First (silly?) question from a newbie ...
How do you fade out the volume (master and auxilliary) on the mixer ?

You're better off adding gainer effects and use tws commands, as you will get smoother volume ramping, but, if you want to keep it to just wires, here is how you do it...

The mixer is just a hack to read the volume from the wires. Therefore, look at the ID of the machine you are connecting to the master (the number on the machine next to the name), and check the wire ID (right click the triangle and look at the number in brackets on the title bar). then, enter the following command into the pattern editor:

...-ww-mm-FCxx

where ww is the wire ID, mm is the machine that is outputting sound to Master, and xx is the volume value you wish to set. note that you leave the note column blank.

If you want to change the Master volume, make sure you leave the machine and wire columns blank... ie:

...-..-..-FCxx
